Morton Grove, a production site specialized in cosmetics
Built in 1956, the Morton Grove plant is entirely dedicated to the manufacture of beauty and make-up products. It manufactures creams, lotions, lip balms, roll ons, nail polishes, mascara for major American cosmetic brands and offers a wide range of technological capabilities: tubes, jars, bottles, sticks.
The site employs 220 people and has 26 filling lines. With this new acquisition in 2018, Fareva is expanding its cosmetics capability in the United States and increasing its industrial capacity. The site's growth prospects are good, particularly in terms of innovation, with the creation of a research and development center dedicated to North American customers.
A development strategy in the United States which started in 2011
It was in the pharmaceutical sector that Fareva began its activities on the North American continent 7 years ago with its acquisition of the Pfizer plant in Richmond. Very quickly, the site expanded, integrated new technological capabilities and diversified into the cosmetics sector.
The opening of a sales office in New York allows Fareva to move closer to the American customers in order to meet their needs more effectively.
